How do you craft C4 in Rust?
A Timed Explosive Charge takes 20 Explosives, 5 Cloth and 2 Tech Trash. Each Explosive is 50 Gun Powder, 3 Low Grade Fuel, 10 Sulfur and 10 Metal Fragments, and every 10 Gun Powder takes 20 Sulfur and 30 Charcoal.
How much gun powder is in a rocket?
A rocket uses 150 Gun Powder directly plus 10 Explosives with 500 more Gun Powder inside them, so 650 in total, along with 2 Metal Pipes.
Why are the totals a bit higher than the per-item sulfur cost?
Gun Powder is crafted in batches of 10 and explosive ammo in pairs, so the calculator rounds every craft up to a full batch, the same way the game does.
How much charcoal do I need?
Every 10 Gun Powder takes 30 Charcoal. Charcoal comes from burning wood in a furnace or campfire, so farm at least that much wood on top of your smelting fuel.
